Apples, pears, quinces and related fruit types are particularly ideal for further processing. The relatively firm pulp is crushed by the fruit mill TORC; the resulting maceration increases the juice yield and allows the fruit to be pressed. Fruits with a soft or smooth pulp do not need to be crushed by the mill as their seeds tend to make the juice bitter.

You will get good quality juice if you use ripe, undamaged fruit. Unripe, overripe, rotten or broken fruit should be sorted out. Before processing the fruit, clean it thoroughly with clean water so that no dirt gets into the puree.

With this fruit or vegetable shredder TORCTMF7 grinding achieves exactly the right consistency. The robust cutting unit (aluminium alloy) is smoothly guided by a manual drive. The stainless steel funnel is mounted on a base frame made of square steel tubing. The funnel has a capacity of 7 litres. The base frame is equipped with rubber feet for a stable hold.
