Common malfunctions in ice cream machines and how to detect them
The most common problems appear as soft ice cream, low production, unusual noise, mixture leaks, alarms, or insufficient cooling. A precise description of the symptom allows differentiation between problems with refrigeration, cleaning, seals, the motor, or the electronics.
If the machine fails only after several hours, it is advisable to check ventilation, condenser, ambient temperature, workload and previous maintenance.
- Ice cream that is too runny or too liquid
- Machine that takes longer to produce
- Leaks from taps, joints or hoppers
- Repeated thermal alarms or shutdowns
